This piece The Heart of Paris was designed and created for Hattember in response to theme From Paris With Love.
When I think of Paris, the first image that comes to mind is a chic Parisian woman wearing a beret. This iconic look was essential to my design, as it pays homage to the timeless elegance of this beautiful city. My goal was to highlight the quality materials unique to Hatters Millinery Supplies while capturing the sophistication and style synonymous with Paris.
The graceful line of the beret reflects the minimalist fashion sense that defines Parisian style. The cut felt and Petersham love hearts subtly express a deep appreciation for the city's rich arts and culture, steeped in history and legendary spaces.
The piece is created from a fur felt hood, petersham ribbon and wire.
