Asteria is a white tulle hallo shape with a gentle edge created through cut layered edge. It features gold-wrapped rays and hand punched layered stars in gold lame and white tulle. The headpiece is created on a wire frame and is secured with an elastic.
The piece was originally designed in response to the theme Heavenly Hats for the Dutch Hat Competition hosted by Nederlandse Hoedenvereniging, the Dutch Hat Association.
