The Nederlandse Hoeden Vereniging (NHV), the Dutch Hat Association hosted a hat competition in 2020 with the theme 'Heavenly Hats'.
The piece I designed and created was titled Asteria inspired by the goddess protector of the stars. A fitting inspiration the piece was created with tulle, lame and wire in a halo shape with rays of light radiating into the sky.
