I was delighted when the team at Collins Square reached out to collaborate once again on an installation within their beautiful space this year. Following last year’s display of hats and headpieces, this season saw the collaboration evolve into an immersive experience with the Spring Bloom installation.

The installation featured six handcrafted designs made in the Lauren J Ritchie Millinery Collins Street studio, including the Alexis Boater in pink, the Zanda Beret in black with a floating gold tulle feather, the Penelope Beret in orange, the Michelle Beret in blue straw braid, and the Egan Cap in black and white.

Visitors were also invited to engage with a digital photobooth, allowing them to try the designs on virtually and experience the collection in a new way.
Collins Square is one of Australia’s largest commercial developments and a significant creative and cultural hub within Melbourne’s CBD and it was wonderful to work with them on this project.
