My darling sister got married in September, which called for some truly special making. We created her dress under our label, Two Sewing Sisters, and I wanted to design a one-of-a-kind veil. To make it even more meaningful, we incorporated lace from both Mum and Nan’s wedding dresses into the hem, creating a piece that carried family history and sentiment.
The day was brought to life by an extraordinary team of creatives. Photography was captured beautifully by Acacia and Grace Photography, while hair and makeup by Alana Muha ensured every detail was perfect. The ceremony was heartfelt, guided by an expert celebrant, and the celebration continued with live music from Baker Boys Band. Styling by Sunshine Events tied together the look of the day, from the venue at The Marion to the décor and floral arrangements.
The groom’s suit, designed by Instichu, complemented the bridal party outfits, also made by Two Sewing Sisters. The cake, created by Glace Canberra, and videography by Love Poets completed the magical atmosphere, ensuring every moment was preserved.
