Lauren J Ritchie Millinery created the Red Tulle Mayfair Hat for the Myer Millinery Award in 2019
Mayfair is a modern adaption on the shape that is traditionally known as the Dior Brim. The ellipse shape is offset on the head and crisp lines are clean and striking. Using layers of red tulle the graduated edges provide a floating and delicate edge.
The dress worn with the piece was a Two Sewing Sisters original design worn with a self covered belt by Buttonmania and striking red heeled shoes from Wittner.
